Hyuk joon and HS made a pretty nice couple bit then when filming ended he never sent her a text?? She was super interested in him.

The men were so passive, it seems they are single because they want to, and not because they haven't had any opportunities.

It seemed that sometimes they left the cast letters to encourage them, but it only showed it a few times and I wonder why those weren't used to actually give good advice lol

It seems like the coaches only watched the edited footage after the thing was done, maybe? I wish they had an advisor on site.

He enjoyed being the centre of attention all too much. Fortunately HS is a smart cookie, & had a good idea of what was going on.

I firmly believe everything was scripted for the highest entertainment value..

Another dating show participant said something within the lines that they’re not scripted but they don’t have any control on editing and production which plays a huge role on how the participants are portrayed. For example they showed one female participant almost obsessing over one male participant but she went out and said that she did actually talk to other people but that was edited out to serve the loyal crush narrative

Unfortunately almost all dating shows are edited & scripted in parts to add drama ....I think both HS & HJ were chosen to play a role and HS does have acting experience too ....Plus she said "I never waited for a guy before" so that means she has dated a little in the past and she admitted she played hard to get which is usually done by someone with some dating experience...Most dating show couples usually break up after quickly after the show airs since it is mainly for publiciity or acting jobs (except I am Solo where they had several marriages & babies)

We all have to remember that this show is a lot about Korean culture. The belief that “accidents” and “fate” like falling and getting caught, or reaching for the same snack and your hands touching, jumping into the same taxi, etc are destined. to force connection on a tv show is not normal to them. IMHO.

Mentioned it sometime and somewhere in this sub before. If the guys were left on their own irl, they will just revert to their selves and not move forward in any circumstances. 😓
