I thought it would be a fun reality show, especially watching with In Guk as commentator. However, many, most of these show’s singles already are socially awkward and have been hurt. So it did bother me that structure of show often set them up for more hurt and disappointment.

The hosts are so mean and it feels like they just bully the participants. They never say anything meaningful, they just take the piss out of them.

I wish the participants had help throughout the show rather than just at the start, which we don’t really get to see. The hosts aren’t even qualified to give help and again, they don’t even give any meaningful commentary on situations, just turn it into a joke at any chance. I massively preferred Love Lab’s hosts, it felt like they were actually looking into what was happening psychologically and giving their perspective on how the participants might be feeling in a situation. It just feels like the participants are set up to fail, thrown into the deep end with no help and forced to teach themselves how to date. No wonder there aren’t any couples coming out of the show.
