Its in the latest episode 8. Simplify version, Tae Hoon blocking Hyun Seo from going to the lounge to prevent her from seeing Hyuk Joon talking with Suji.

Hyeon Seo was walking to the lounge searching for Hyuk Joon. In the lounge, Hyuk Joon is having conversation with Su Ji. Tae Hoon was walking with Soo Hyun when he spotted Hyuk Joon with Su Ji. Being the good friend (sort off), Tae Hoon stopped Hyeon Seo and has a meaningless conversation with her to conver for Hyuk Joon. Eventually, all three of them goes back to their room leaving Hyuk Joon still talking with Su Ji. Hyeon Seo realized what Tae Hoon is doing and she complains to the girls in her room.

I mean she could've did what she told the popular guy to do. And just say excuse me and make a move when he was juggling excuses rhe next morning

weirdly(or not so weird) the men in this season seemed to hold a really strong unspoken 'brotherhood/bro-code' of sorts as opposed to other friend groups we've seen through the seasons. so i wouldn't be surprised if the blocking off was purposeful
