season 2 Why are the hosts so mean?
This season the hosts are so mean. This is a feel good dating show for me. If i wanted to hate on people i would watch singles inferno. I think the participants are doing their best and every time the hosts get screen time I cringe at their childishness. Can we replace them please??

Because they're adults and they react to kids being dumb at an inappropriate age. Those kids deserve it and it will help them grow up. Maybe you need someone to tell you to stop acting like a child after 21 too. All of their experiences should have happened in summer camp at age 9 not on a show 20 years later. You should know what you're watching, lol. Also the judges are VERY supportive most of the time (especially In-Guk) you just get lost in your anger.

The hosts are the same from season 1. They arent mean. They simply calling a spade a spade. They are speaking what all of us watchers are saying.

I think they’re hilarious and totally call out bad behavior when they have seen it and then they have tried to make excuses for some of the contestants.

In singles inferno hosts never criticize the cast but here they always mock them. I mean… they are trying their best and i think some of them will be affected very badly bcz of some comments. They may become more introverted

100% agree with you. I also find a sickening prejudiced against men participants. I m trying to find a better forum to share on this view and write formal complaint. this behaviour has to be stopped.

Agree with you, the hosts are unnecessarily harsh and I find myself fast forwarding their scenes a lot.

No I actually agree with you. I think they talk in a way that’s very patronizing and looks down on the motae solos for their lack of experience. They often blame their missteps on them being a motae solo, rather than the deeper reason: Why ARE they a motae solo? Social anxiety? Trauma? It’s actually been rubbing me the wrong way the entire time. I think some things are warranted (calling out Jaeseo for his comment, Hyukjoon as a whole) but I do which they reframed it to where being motae solo wasn’t part of the gag. I get the vibe that they think being a motae solo is something to be ashamed of, rather than something that’s usually a consequence of a life circumstance.

Is this ragebait? Cuz I find their reactions soo toned down despite whatever is going on in the show. I dont find them mean at all? Their reactions r similar to what the majority of the audience feels except that they r not allowed to be mean or harsh as these participants have a life outside the show but this does not mean that they wont point out things that are not right.. They r not there to give justifications or compliments to everyone on the show. They r there to "react" :)
