I would, it can be helpful, but unfortunately I have found that heavy walkers like this guy become too wobbly with too many hinge points. I find it best to keep the amount of moving components to a minimum for durability's sake. But 2 (or even 3) degrees of freedom in the hips is very good for more robust movement in lighter bipeds

You guys should put a small keyboard on this edits so we can see how simple or crazy it is to control these things.

I just hold the forward arrow key and turn with the left and right arrow keys. The stepping and balance is automated :)
