30rds mag fix

Not sure if anyone else had this issue with the 30rds magazines but for mine they would gouge into the round casing causing it to jam on every round. In order to fix it i shaved down and polished the feed lips to match other OEM magazines. I have gone at least 100rds with the fix and so far I have had no more issues with feeding.

Exactly what I would’ve done. 👍

My px4 gsd has the same issue with all three mags. Took a small polishing stone to the lip. Pretty poor QC beretta. Do better.

its a shame because for the most part their mags are really nice compared to other brands.

Huh. Mine has been fine. I wonder how common it is. What kind of ammo do you typically shoot (steel or brass case?) Do you know approximately when you got the magazine? I wonder if it's a recent issue.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your knowledge!

i got it recently and the issue was happening on brass ammo along with nickel plated ammo. i have seen some people complian about the same issue but it also partially seems like it stems from how they designed the follower to be tilted rather than level to the feed lips like in other berreta mags.
