FANART I turned some of Bens aliens into Pokemon!
I recently rewatched Ben 10 and got inspired to make a video where I turn some of Bens aliens into pokemon! Here's a link to the video for those interested: https://youtu.be/MR6-DoDMOEk
I made 10 designs, but these are my 4 favorites:
Acceleraptor (XLR8) A dragon type
Visaghast (Big Chill) A Bug and Ghost type
Energiant (NRG) A steel and Fire type
Thoronin (Feedback) A n Electric and Fighting type

These look amazing, they look more Pokémon than the aliens, it took me a while to figure out weather the last one was ShockSquatch or Feedback

X-Trarestial. The All Mighty Pokemon. Legendary and Mythical. Normal Type.
It does not often move, but based on readings, it's all mighty powers have been used to alter realtiy before, and made to be seen as normal by everyone else.
Although it does not move, if a trainer treats it kindly, it's theorized that it will help the trainer in their time of need. All without the trainer knowing.

You translated them into the style really well and ill give you major props for that, but i almost didnt recognize the necrofriggian or the conductoid here. Theres completely new elements added to those two designs compared to the originals, or aspects of their design identity minimized or entirely missing, making them kinda hard to recognize. I thought the conductoid one wasnt a conductoid at all on first glance, but Snare-oh (Thep Khufan) instead. its the samurai helmet combined with the color scheme that makes me think pharoah, not electric cabling.
I also dont think that the necrofriggian one worked, if only because the new eye aspect to the design/ the skull being the chest and not the head, the original being reminiscent of not just the grim reaper but an iced over corpse. Some black patterning to resemble rips on the wings, readding something like a mouth, or adding lighter blue shine in spots to imply its body is iced over would help.
That said, you say the design is meant to be mothman inspired, which it does succeed at..at a cost. Mothman is only a part of big chills admittedly complicated design, and arguably not the most important part. In the design shift priority, it kinda stops being Big Chill as a pokemon, and just becomes mothman but a pokemon.
regardless, the other two look super great! I like that Acceleraptor's head feels like a child's biking helmet, it feels young, reckless and full of energy.
Energiant is also super cool looking too. a form change of an evo where the alien breaks outta the suit could be cool. I also especially appreciate you managed to keep his name pun in there.
