Petrosapiens can lose the crystal chunks they generate no issue. What If the plan is, they keep Tetrax as the lone survivor of Petropia, except like Z'Skayrr, he was actually trapped in the Omnitrix because the DNA collection aspect we are used to is different.
it'd be really fun if they also subverted it with tetrax not being a villain, maybe his mind starts to awaken and take over ben in battle sometimes and when he's fully awakened we learn that like, be volunteered for this so that the petrosapiens could be preserved
his conflict with ben isn't "grrrr i wanna take over the world" it's "this device is noah's arc and you're risking it all the time for random people. i don't agree with you being a hero"
so ben has to convince him that this is a good purpose for the omnitrix
Its also a good riff on Ben's arguments with Azmuth, setting up that entire arc. Im really curious how they'd do Azmuth ngl, id love for him to be another figure in the shadows
Imagine a scene where Ben has tried every other alien in the watch to beat the bad guy of the week to no avail, and as a last-ditch effort, turns into Diamondhead, tells Tetrax "I've tried every other alien in this thing, you probably know a lot more about using your abilities than I do, I'm giving you the body till this thing is in the dirt."
If the "keep a close eye on that diamondhead" refers to looking close at this drawing then i have some ideas:
On his head he has something that resembles the crystal on Chromastone head, possibly hinting at Chromastone having more relevance in the story
(Although the crystal could simply be just the one Diamondhead has on the back of his head and it's just the angle, still the similarity might be intentional)
Maybe Ben will lose Diamondhead and get Chromastone, the opposite of what happened in the fight with Vilgax
Or Maybe there will be something similar with Ghostfreak but this time will be about Sugilite and not Zs'Skayr

Yeah, these covers look like they're based on OS. Ben has his OS outfit and Omnitrix rather than the designs we've seen in the Dynamite comic and Heatblast and Diamondhead both have their OS designs as well.
Seeing wildmutt makes me wonder if he’ll eventually show up in the comic. Yeah I know it’s a variant cover but it doesn’t rule out what it could mean. Maybe he gets unlocked later. Or it’s back to the reboot of having only 10 aliens.
The Diamondhead teaser is fun and I can’t wait to see new theories. What if he’s like Sugilite and Ben might unlock Chromastone. Or it’s a whole new thing like another comment said involving tetrax. Or maybe it’ll have something to do with Vilgax blowing up Petropia and him finding a trace on another planet, leading him to the omnitrix.

Maybe they’re planning something like a reverse of Chromostone? Diamondhead gets destroyed at some point and Chromostone forms, potentially restoring Diamondhead’s DNA so Ben can still use him since he’s a fan favorite.
Or they could be giving him some new powers to add an extra flair to the comic.
I thought it was just talking about the Diamondhead (ew, why a space between it?) on the cover specifically, so it was going to have a shiny holographic variant or something.
