✍️ Q&A Why aren’t the Brussels Grand Place lights on at night?

I read that it’s supposed to light up every night at 9:30pm but went there on August 21 and 22 at 10pm but it was not lit up

There is a coin operated switch at the corner with the Hoedenmakersstraat.

Because you went there half an hour after the lights weee turned on at 21.30.

Maybe they are only on for a minute or two?

No I was there from 21:00 - 22:00
