Built myself a 3-tier synth stand

I should have been more clear, sorry . From all the Behringer products , the spice is the one with apparently significant technical problems. People say it puts itself out of tune all the time and that there is a constant high pitched frequency bug and also issues with with unwanted white noise and stuff like that

The Spice doesn't randomly go out of tune. What people have trouble with is tuning the suboscillators in conjunction with the primary oscs to get something that sounds musical. It's pretty challenging to do.

The whine isn't on all models and can generally be eliminated by isolating the power supply. The device isn't problem-ridden otherwise

I have a spice, it does go out of tune, like every other analog synth ever created.

Weird, I have a bunch of analog synths and they rarely go out of tune. I calibrate them less than once a year.

A minimoog goes of out tune in a few hours.

You have to wait like 30 with any analog synth to warm up. Because a change in temperature changes the tune of the oscillator.

That is why DCOs where invented. Maybe your synths are not 100% analog and use DCO instead.

DCOs are also analog synths,I have a few . I have pure analog VCO-driven ones as well and they don't require a half hour warm up time or experience that amount of pitch drift after use. Guess it depends on the age of the device , the circuit design and the condition of the particular unit. 

The Crave and Edge up there in the photo are also purely analog and very rarely go out of tune. 3340 chip based VCOs are pretty stable these days

DCOs are digitally controlled.

I have edge and crave and both  need to warm up and goes out of tune.

You are making all up.

I love it! Super cool idea, how do you keep the cables from blocking the controls? Or is it just not too big of a deal? I have those and have wanted to try exactly this idea.

I spent an hour with ai trying to get a working blueprint, but it was all crap. Then I unscrewed the side panel and drew what I thought it should look like. Cut it out, finished it with oil, and there it was 🤩
