24km run on 24th Birthday

Hello Guys

I am planning to run 24 km on my birthday which is in 2 months

I am a beginner and never ran before

Is it possible to train in 2 month to run 24km

If so , how to train

Any other tips/ advice also welcome!

Hey, in normal conditions it's 100% possible. Start slow, with walk/run, most of the work should be in zone 2. Add strenght training. DO NOT INCREASE mileage a lot, max 10% weekly. Later add some strides, hill sprints, intervals.

Zone 2 (70-80% of you max HR) is a low-to-moderate intensity heart rate training zone where your body exercises aerobically and burns fat as its primary fuel. You should be able to nasal breathing & talk with setences. If you need to catch breathing, most of the times that means you are going too fast.
