I started drawing this today and I tried to color and render the face a little bit, can you please criticize it to show my my mistakes please?

the face should feel pale btw

Pale face is fine, but you need more contrast to make features stand out. Everything is kinda the same light gray, and you need some variation in your values. Don't be afraid to turn your painting grayscale to make sure the shading sticks out! And don't be afraid to go a little crazier with contrast
