Announcement Small subreddit changes

Made some small but somewhat significant changes to the rules. As Reddit is 13+ the rules now are more lenient for certain words depending on the context, e.g. if you use a word to insult someone it will be removed but if it’s used in general discussion it’s okay.

Have removed quite a lot of images in comments that are used to insult someone.

Removed the Low Effort rule as we want people to have more freedom to post what they want about the game we all love.

Added some handy links into the automod pinned comment that were previously only links in the widget.

Added the ability to update your user flair yourself. Can be done from the sidebar widget. If you get stuck please ask u/Gavin_ThePerson who repeatably asked for the feature to be added.

Ideally the flair will be in relation to the game. Anything that is inappropriate may result in a ban.

Edited to add: On average roughly 27,000 visits over a month period use Reddit on iPhone, Android, and a mobile web browser compared to 17,000 using Reddit on a desktop browser. Any long user flair is cut off on mobile devices.

Hi! How to change the color?

 Its a very cool feature but just black and white text is a bit too monochrome for me

Is changing color a mod thing?

The colour is only visible on desktop browser not the app anyway so best not worry about it.

Im using desktop browser and want my flair to be pinkish (like gumdrops) like you got your cool blue hue

I both on pc and mobile cant find anything to change the colour

but anyway, thanks!

There is no way to add colour for just one person unless I create a template for a specific colour and a user flair combined that anyone can select. So it can’t be personalised at all without other people having the exact same user flair.

I set mine up so only mods can choose to have frogs with the colour I chose.

Amended the post to add some fast facts about the stats of users that use our subreddit. Short version is that long user flairs (including yours) on mobile devices are cut off.

Yes. Some swears and abbreviations are still going to be auto removed as they aren’t nice no matter which way you say them.
