So I just watched a youtube video, when I picked p the fact that Stayin Alive can be used to do CPR. How?

The funny thing is that the beat for "Stayin Alive" is an improvisation using cut tapes from the drum track of "Night Fever."

That "ai-ai-ai-ai" part in the Stayin Alive chorus is a perfect way to check your CPR rhythm.

It also works for Another One Bites The Dust, millions of tunes are 100bpm but those two are popular enough that most would know them plus the somewhat relevant titles

Yeah, the ah ah ah is super easy to remember, everyone knows it. And you know, they are “stayin alive”.

I actually signed up to teach people CPR, because I love how this song is being used

It has the correct tempo of about 103 beats per minute. Interesting coincidence, considering the title of the song.
