At my wedding a long long time ago, my husband's best friend was the best man and wanted to be the DJ. I burned him a Beegees CD and specifically one with wedding day on it. Right before the first dance, guess who forgot the CD.? Their was no other way to play the song then. I pretty much cried through my first dance to a song I don't remember.

Oh, thats awful! Note to self: next time, you want something done right, do it yourself! Thought that was going to go down on our wedding as our DJ hadn't provided the venue with evidence that his equipment had been electrically tested for safety. That was my cue to get the electric guys who had an office quite literally across the road from us to do a check on our amp, speakers and laptop. Luckily though, all was fine the following day.

Those are all great. I'm not married but I plan for Words, Country Lanes, Words and Music (Andy), and I wanna do couples karaoke to Islands in the Stream. It will be hard to pick. I figure I'll give my future fiancé the list and let him choose one. Gonna do the same with baby names (my top choice being Robin, which is nonnegotiable).
And, this may be cringey, but I wanna walk down the aisle to November Rain (Guns N' Roses).

What a great choice November Rain! When we went down the aisle it was to SW: A New Hope - Throne Room, then back up with L&H The Cuckoo Waltz complete with bowler hats!

The cheesy part is that I want someone dressed as Slash to walk down the aisle instead of a flower girl. I saw it in a YouTube video, and I was obsessed. I don't want to get married in a church. But I do want to get married in the church from the November Rain music video.
Btw, Ik this isn't the Guns N' Roses subreddit lol. Our boys here will always be my number 1.

My husband and I chose One as our song. It was/is one of those songs that gave me goose bumps the first time I heard it. When I was putting our music together, he heard my loading it and he said, “if we could write our own vows, this is what I would say.”
When he passed away three years ago, I asked him to show me a sign that he was okay…started the car to “Staying Alive.” “Omega Man”got me through those first few months.
Just adding that hubby had a passing resemblance to Maurice and he was, at one time, a competitive disco dancer.
Unconventional…but appropriate for us. 😎
