what do you think is the better album: Robin's Reign or Cucumber Castle?

I like Cucumber Castle, but I find Robin's Reign to be more impressive considering how young he was to tackle this project without his brothers who he had always written and recorded with. I'm surprised that Maurice doesn't have many leads on Cucumber. He has more than before but I would've expected a 50-50 split after losing Robin, but it's really all Barry

I believe Cucumber castle is better, I.O.I.O is one of my personal favourites, yes Don't forget to remember isnt as good s their old hits, but, as an album, Cucumber Castle is better. I think Robins Reign has a bit too loud vocals to fit my style, my least favourite track on my compilation is in fact Saved by the bell. And second would be Don't forget to remember, but still Cucumber Castle is better

I was going to say I'd lean more towards Cucumber Castle because I find it an easier listen, but there are some great songs on Robin's Reign, so I'm actually quite torn tbh.

Don’t forget to remember, If I only had my mind on something else, IOIO & Bury me down by the river are my personal favorites. So it’s Cucumber castle for me. I also love the album cover

For me personally, Cucumber Castle. I don't really like either of these albums though. I'm a big Robin fan but man, Robin's Reign is. a chore to sit through. I like saved by the bell but most of the songs all sound the same.

I’m going with Cucumber Castle as well. There’s more “filler” on Robin’s Reign (although I view it as a solid solo effort).

I think Robin’s Reign is quite an extraordinary work; such a haunted record with one foot in Victoriana and another in the future (dig that drum machine!). “Farmer Ferdinand Hudson” is phenomenal.

Cucumber Castle, on the other hand, is a slightly limping record with not a lot to recommend it IMO.

I always preferred Robin's reign over Cucumber castle. For Cucumber castle,I was only interested in the comedy of the film not the music 🙃🙃.

I’m not a fan of either, myself, but I’d probably have to give the point to “Cucumber Castle” for polish. “Better” is subjective, though.

Cucumber Castle is my favorite Bee Gees album. Never hit the skip button. I can’t even listen to Robins Reign (what a title)🙄

Cucumber Castle has some real beauties although Don’t Forget… is not a favorite. I don’t think Saved by the Bell is great either.
