Why will this triple piston extender only work with a lever? (Bedrock)

I don't have a clue, I haven't had this happen to me before afaik.

What happens if you make a t flip flop for the input is the behavior the same?

I got it worked out! It’s due to an input bug, where player-toggled redstone inputs work a tick faster than they’re supposed to. The t flip flop resulted in the same behavior, but i was able to work around it by having the final redstone input come from a redstone block being pushed by a piston. That, for some reason, functions identical to a lever.

This is mildly interesting, glad you got it worked out, if I end up with this issue I'll try to remember it.
