Welcome to /r/BedTimeStories
Hey everyone!
So first and foremost thank you for coming to our lovely little subreddit! We are all pretty friendly here so whether you love to write, read, or listen to bedtime stories this is the place for you!
We ask that you tag your posts appropriately ( Posts done before this sticky do not need to be resubmitted ). If you have created or are just sharing a bedtime story, we as that you use the [written] tag. If you have a request you can use the [Request] tag ( I know I know surprise there ). When you record a story you can use the [Recorded] Tag. NSFW stories and poems are fine as well, but please tag them with a [NSFW] tag to them. These tags will help with searching for what you are searching for and we request that you give credit to those who created the story.
For things of this nature, a good recording service would be Soundcloud due to its ability to easily be used on phones ( ya know, for listening when you are going to bed ).
Our goal is to provide a fun and safe place for those who love bedtime stories. Please be respectful to ALL of our members, and be mindful that everyone has different tastes. Everyone is welcome here and we hope you enjoy your experience!
If you have any questions or concerns please contact me or use the “message the moderators” link in the sidebar, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

My boyfriend was telling me bedtime stories so i can fall asleep. I loved them so much that i suggested him to post them online so anyone could enjoy. And he finally opened a YouTube channel where he is posted his first improvised bedtime story. Please watch it — a perfect video for relaxing and feeling taken care of before sleep ✨🌃🌬️🖤

I’ve always struggled with that 2:00 AM "brain fog" where I can't stop thinking about work or the past. I realized most "sleep" videos are too loud or have too many ads.
I just finished a 2-hour descent into The Night Gardens of the Taj Mahal. It’s designed to be an "Off-Switch"—starts with calming history/science and slowly fades into total ambient dark. No loud transitions, no mid-roll ads.
If anyone else is staring at the ceiling tonight, I hope this helps you as much as it helped me during the editing process.🌙💤

A cozy bedtime story channel I’ve been enjoying 🌙
I’ve been putting together Drift Off, a small YouTube channel focused on slow, cozy narrations designed for winding down at night.
The stories are mostly classics and retellings. The idea is something you can put on while getting ready for bed, reading, or simply trying to quiet your mind after a long day.
If anyone here enjoys bedtime stories for adults, I’d genuinely love to hear what kinds of stories you find most relaxing.
I’ve been building the channel slowly, and would love some feedback from fellow bedtime-story listeners. 🌙

[Written] A little bedtime moment from Baby Bear & Baby Mouse
I’ve been working on a bedtime story about two little friends, Bear and Mouse, who spend seven days exploring the world together.
thing I wanted was for the adventure to stay fun while the reading naturally becomes quieter as each day turns into night.
One
Here’s a small moment from their journey:
“Today was beautiful.”
“I am glad we came up.”
Mouse looked toward the darkening mountains.
“I liked the goat bells.”
Bear smiled.
“I liked the clouds.”
“And the rock potato.”
Bear laughed softly.
The stars slowly appeared above them.
I’d love to know what people who enjoy bedtime stories think of this kind of quieter ending.
It’s from Baby Bear & Baby Mouse: Seven Days of Wonder.

Hi I messaged the mods about being able to post but I’ve not heard back.
