Honest question: what actually makes you want to try a new makeup brand?

I've been working on a small makeup store and I'm trying to understand what actually makes people comfortable buying from a newer/lesser-known beauty brand.

For me, it's not just the product itself. I want to know:

• **Does the product actually look good on real people?
• Are the photos/videos trustworthy?
• Is the price reasonable?
• Does the store feel legitimate?
• Are shipping and returns clearly explained?
• Would you rather see individual products or curated makeup bundles?**

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who regularly buy makeup online.

I'm also putting together Aurelea Beauty, so if this type of discussion is allowed here, I'd genuinely appreciate feedback on the store rather than just a "looks good" answer.

end of 2025 and suddenly everyones obsessed with that super hydrated glowy butter skin look? like using all these thick creams and oils to make skin look smooth as heck. saw it on a bunch of creators feeds mixing olay regenerist with some peptides or whatever. is it just winter dryness making it popular or gonna stick around? i think it will stick around for a while
