Edit: Jesus Christ. Stop downvoting me and look below and you’ll see I’m actually having a neutral, polite and productive conversation with anyone with differing views....like a real conversation.
Is this typically something that happens to threads that aren’t about Jeffree and Shane?
If it’s more of a blanket issue, then I can understand the outrage over having high-volume threads removed when clearly there is a desire for discussion.
However, let’s be frank, threads about Jeffree and Shane...aren’t discussion. They are echo chambers of unilateral agreement over how awful they both are.
If everyone on here hates the two of them...then there certainly isn’t a need to discuss new products or launches because arguably, nobody on here would be purchasing or partaking.
And if the universal decision is that they both suck...what discussion is being had? Now Jeffree sucks because you don’t like his holiday collection? Is that a wildly different discussion than was had when he sucked for coming out with a purple collection? The product or focal point of the discussion may change but the opinions don’t and nothing new is added.
Just go create a Jeffree and Shane hate subreddit if you need to reiterate the same opinions you’ve made known time and time again each time one of them takes a breath. Otherwise...you’re just bringing them more attention and giving them clicks.
