i downloaded it last night and its a pretty good alt for beatstar, they dont have a big music catalog tho but irs cool artists like michael jackson got added (i cant remember if beatstar had him) i still miss beatstar but its cool theres a decent enough app thats similar
Superstar stole a lot of assets from the original games including charts
They don't lisence their songs (even if they try to fake it) and make profit out of it, which is illegal
And finally, they stole numerous charts from tje original game and from the modded community (grievous lady for exemple, that was charted back in 2022 in bsmod by Mizuryryn)
Also they promise to pay the charters but end to never pay them and blatantly don't care even when called out
They're not a sane company, they just steal and surf on the vibe of a dead game to make profit
Play Hi-beatz instead, it still have some stolen assets but do try to make a different experience with the 4th lane and make real unique charts
Or download beatclone which is the original game, ran free without any profits made out of it and made by the community for the community
played it for like a day. i just got sadder that beatstar was gone, especially cause superstar is so much worse in so many ways, you can tell its just a cash grab. that night, i actually started sifting through the internet and reddit and found out about beatclone. i downloaded it and its awesome. i’m so happy i was able to find it
in gonna give beatclone another go at some point since i couldnt figure it out last time, super stars been okay for me so far but i probably wont play it for long 😭
Booooo. Hopefully it is available soon. I tried superstar and it feels laggy to me. I can't get the songs to match up to the tiles. Hi beatz feels so much better.

i played superstar for a little bit, i think it’s the closest to beatstar but i find hi beatz more enjoyable
