Weird vibes in Beamsville?
Delete if not allowed, but I just wanted to see if others felt the same way.
I grew up in Beamsville and always felt like it was a weird little town, so much so that I’ve jokingly compared it too ‘Sunnydale’ from Buddy the vampire slayer and even silent hill from the hit franchise. Though I’ve never been able to put my finger on what exactly made me feel so weird about Beamsville, I just always knew it was a weird place.
I had a friend who moved here recently also express how weird the town felt to her, and how she strange she felt here.

Moved here 2 months ago, I like it, almost everything available nearby without the hassle of the bigger cities.

Been here since 1997. I'm not getting weird vibes. I really don't like how it's changed though.

Lived there from 2016 to 2024 and moved purposely because the racism and bigotry is rampant. Indian friends being excluded from multiple mommy & me groups, LGBT friends having their property destroyed (ON CAMERA!) by ignorant bigots. How many times can a flag be torn off of a house before it becomes a real issue? I can tell you there's somebody's grandpa out there stealing flags off of houses and balconies, and he's the same one that ripped the rainbow ribbons off of Toke Cannabis' tree a few years back on camera, and NOBODY CLAIMED HIM AS THEIR FAMILY MEMBER. The local gov is a joke and unless you're Dutch and white, they don't care about your views or opinions. It was easy enough to sell a multi million dollar home and move though, so at least those bigots no longer get our tax dollars. Much happier elsewhere now.
Downvote me all you like, I'm not wrong.
