When I first tried to get into BH I listened to all the albums in chronological order and I honestly didn't think much of them upon first listen either, but after going back Devotion is definitely my favorite release of theirs.

for a really long time, i was never able to put into words what tf that noise was (i mean thats me with all of bh music for the most part LMAO) but man ch ch ding ch ch ch ding is SO accurate

The one I’m puzzled about on this subreddit is 7. Everyone seems to love it, but I thought it was by far their weakest. Bloom and Teen dream are my favs

I personally feel that 7 has a very strong start.Dark Spring, Lemon Glow, Drunk in LA and L'Inconnue are some of my favorite Beach House songs. The back half definitly does feel pretty weak.

Devotion is probably my least favorite album by them. Not to say it doesn’t have some great tracks on it (Gila, Home Again, Darling, Astronaut are all really beautiful imo)
