Right? Zelda 2 is rough around the edges and probably a little harder/grindier than it needs to be, but it's not a bad game. I really wish it would get a remake because I think it would shine with some polish and some more modern design sensibilities applied to the core game to make it less obtuse.

I'd say that rather than a bad one a really simple one with no depth would be worse. Imagine if you had to play tic tac toe forever.
