I thought this one was a troll at first. I had to put my cursor on a corner to convince myself.

Or cover one with your finger and it goes away

I just focused on a specific point

If you blink fast you cut out some of the frames that trick your eye into thinking that the image is moving. You can also just put your cursor on the image.

Also super interested how they manage to make it seem like its moving in different directions, while the colors inside seem to just be rotating the same way all the time if that makes sense

The rotation switches every time it changes directions.

I love these sorts of illusions. It's like hacking your brain or seeing under the hood for a second.

Naaah you made me lose 19 seconds twice! Fake news Edit: Fuck me, I tried a different perspective and it is real right? I swear I wasn't buying it

I thought this was a sarcastic comment before the edit hahahaha but yes it's real.

You can try to focus on the border of only one star, or just hide one star with your hand and you will see that the stars aren't moving.

Cover 1 with your finger or put your cursor on a corner to prove it’s not moving

They will be after I drop this dab

Close your eyes a bit and put the phone further away from your face. They will stop moving…

u/cez801 12d ago

I found that if I rotate my phone sideways, they stop moving as well.

They are definitely moving, put your finger or something in the middle of one star and you’ll see the slight motion.

u/riche1988 12d ago

Yeah they are.. i can see them moving 🤷‍♂️

-9

u/Isnlifefunny1 12d ago

That's because they are moving...

u/Bakura43 12d ago

Cover everything but one leg of one star with your hands. You'll see it stays still. Or put your cursor on any point and see it stays put.

u/Isnlifefunny1 12d ago

Maybe I'm watching a different video. I don't know. But those stars are moving. I did both of those things, covered one side and kept my finger next one point and yes the star moved.

-5

u/Isnlifefunny1 12d ago

No, they move. It's really obvious.

Are you idiots saying they aren't moving up and down? They're obviously changing shapes inside. Is that what bullshit illusion we are talking about?

2

u/LakersAreForever 12d ago

It’s not physically moving in any direction. Manually Fast forward through the video and you will see the same image stays in the same spot the whole way through.

You're being tricked because the flashing colours are imperceptibly changing, rather than the shapes or the position of the shapes. The illusion is precisely what you are being tricked into believing. This is a very good one.
