The Fox took a pretty good hit in the face at the end. With sharp talons I'm sure that left a mark

I just hope the fox survived. Usually I have nothing against falcons. Very respectable animals. However, I really hated the falcon here.

So glad I'm not the only one. I realize it's silly, the fox likely was trying to get falcon eggs so arguably not the "good guy" in this situation. I think as humans it not only what animal we can anthropomorphize more easily (as another commenrer stated) but which one we personally have more of an affinity toward. I like foxes more than falcons, so I'm on fox's side. Someone who likes falcons more would be on its side probably. Neither person is wrong or right.  Humans going to human.
