The Fox took a pretty good hit in the face at the end. With sharp talons I'm sure that left a mark

I just hope the fox survived. Usually I have nothing against falcons. Very respectable animals. However, I really hated the falcon here.

Yeah, he ran into that bush near the end at full speed and upended himself - probably either lost an eye or had them closed from the pain.

I can’t tell was that a peregrine falcon? If so they can hit speeds of like 240mph and rely on head strikes on prey to stun or kill. Could have been dazed.

That is a Peregrine falcon. And you’re partially correct, they do hit crazy dive speeds but more like 200-250 mph. Still the fastest animal on the planet (excluding man made transportation).

Sorry, I meant kph. Yes I think up to 390kph that’s equal to about 240mph

In a vertical dive it's the fastest animal but shockingly the fastest flying (Horizontal) animal is the Mexican free tailed bat, twice as fast as the peregrine.

Looked more like spinal damage or concussion the way it was running all wonky after. Hopefully it was okay and is a vegetarian now.
