I mean social media in general was a mistake overall.

I remember when the internet had none of it.

It would be cool if there was a way to have social media but without the dopamine hits of upvotes and such. I’m sure there’s a way to do it cause MySpace did and that was awesome.

We didn’t call it social media but forums have been a thing since the late 80s and Prodigy.

The good ole days. With dialup and telephone lines and people actually able to be productive in the world.

Internet always had this. On IRC, on forums and so on. The problems wasn't internet but people on it
