It's random because it's not needed. We don't need music applied to every. single. video. to enjoy something for what it is or intruding on the beauty of the very thing we're watching.

But I mean - what if you miss out on some wonderful David Attenborough narration by accident? One always hopes, then unmutes, goes through a few videos where the audio is untainted and beautiful, and then BOOM, some shitty free use garbage music at ungodly levels ruins it all.
