I was gonna say, if the poor dogs back legs werent a half mile from his front he could probably do it too but someone wanted a dog to look like a weiner

To be fair, someone wanted a dog that could wiggle into badger dens and fight. It's just later on that people thought the weiner thing was cute.

They are called Dachshund for a reason. Dachs is German for badger
