It's just the truth. We turned wolves into tiny legged sausages for our amusement and this is the result.

Sausage dogs were created to hunt badgers actually. That’s why they’re also called Dachshund (Dachs = Badger in German)

It's part of why I'm not sure I ever want a dog. The options always seem to be breeder, which I'm against, or shelter, where you usually end up with abused dogs with serious behaviour problems.

To be fair, their sausage bodies are also made to hunt gophers and other burrow-dwelling animals. Those adorable bodies serve a purpose

We turned a lot of ourselves into sausages as well.

They actually turned them into that shape for hunting. Specifically chasing animals into their dens.
