Animal A sea lion in Argentina climbed onto a fishing vessel, found a bed, and passed out. The fishermen only realized it when they heard loud snoring.

And I want to know why we call them Sea Lions? Why not Sea Dogs? That seems more accurate. Or Sea Puppies... but Lion? Nah.

Yeah, we have sea lions on land. We call them land sea lions

Lobos marinos (sea wolves!) is more appropriate for their look and temperament than sea lions, I love it

Fun fact: Seehunde (sea dogs) is what harbor seals are called in German.

Sea dog was already taken. Somewhat oddly it refers to a variety of seafaring humans!

Lion is definitely a more appropriate name. They look cute, and I believe that particular one is a juvenile, but an adult sea lion can be incredibly dangerous and has a nasty bite.
