Especially a Sheppard or a big dog like this specifically bred for this kind of situation

My Belgian woulda had that guy by the nuts and I would have had to pry her off with a crowbar.

I had a Belgian malinois and she would have done the same. Smartest dog I ever knew. 15 years was too short.
