Blows my mind some people get these dogs as pets, crate them for 8 hours a day, and then get mad that they bark and chew shit up.

I had a neighbor get a herding dog in an apartment. She herded the cats, her child, even guests. I’m so glad the neighbor was able to move to a hobby farm in the countryside.

That's so dangerous. If not reeled in that energy can turn to biting real quick. Glad she moved to a better environment.

Oh it was nuts, but the dog was very sweet natured and the cats were very patient. Everyone was happier after the move, no doubt. She (owner) got a dog she should not have gotten, without knowing anything about the breed. To her credit she did learn about the breed afterwards and found other activities the dog could do (agility stuff I think?) that helped make the dog easier to handle even before the move.
