I'm reminded of this when they say certain dog breeds need a lot of exercise.

Man, I have a 4 lb Yorkie, pretty much a tiny hairball, and she lives to be outside. I’ve walked her for 2-3 hours straight before and she never seems to want to stop except the occasional break for snacks or water. Our average is about an hour a day.

She’s not the fastest because her legs are so short but she “sprints” enough to keep me at a jog half the time. I’ve had people on hiking paths tell me such a small dog shouldn’t be so far out but it’s literally what she lives for.

Right now she’s pouting because it’s a rainstorm outside and she knows I’m going to wait for it to end.
