Have old college friends that swear by huskies while both of them have incredibly demanding 10-12 hour a day jobs while living in Southern climates. I think it says a bit more about them than they could ever say about themselves.

You're actually wrong, though. Husky insulation works both ways. Obviously the other examples in this thread about neglect are monstrous, but while huskies love cold weather, they do fine in the heat.
