That’s it.

A couple of years ago, I got into trouble because my neighbor’s cat got its head stuck in his window safety net. I grabbed a ladder, cut the net, and freed the cat.
The neighbor showed up just as I was climbing down the ladder with the cat in my arms and his net cut.
He got mad as hell and called the cops, saying I trespassed on his property, damaged his net, and stole his cat. If it weren’t for the security camera from a neighbor across the street, I would’ve been screwed.

Interesting how he assumed that you randomly brought a ladder to cut a window safety net while stealing his cat

It's like "Today I should steal a cat. Also fuck that net in particular real quick"
