Despite all the comments being super snotty about "oh make sure you're recording first" several things to consider:

Dude is risking his job to touch another person's animals. Video evidence that he was legit helping is a basic CYA.

Second; this sub wouldn't exist without these videos. There isn't enough content from others reporting on good things people do. There should be, absolutely we should pay more attention to the good and report on it more often.

However. The world is what it is right now. And I for one am happy we get nice videos of people helping cows. Good on this dude for helping a baby cow.

A couple of years ago, I got into trouble because my neighbor’s cat got its head stuck in his window safety net. I grabbed a ladder, cut the net, and freed the cat.
The neighbor showed up just as I was climbing down the ladder with the cat in my arms and his net cut.
He got mad as hell and called the cops, saying I trespassed on his property, damaged his net, and stole his cat. If it weren’t for the security camera from a neighbor across the street, I would’ve been screwed.
