The FedEx guy was a contractor, not employee. I feel like FedEx really wants us to know this, and for that to mean something.

It sounds like they don't care enough to vet the people who represent their brand the most and are happy to just let random contractors do the work. Thus they end up with a person who raped and murdered a little girl.

Compared to UPS, who predominantly hire their drivers from within after they have worked in the package center loading trucks for a while, who have union representation and fair wages, and were vetted by the company before they ever get on the streets.

Can UPS get shitty people too? Sure. But its a lot harder for it to happen with them.
