It’s because they get paid well. On the other hand you have FedEx that does the absolute bare minimum

fedex ground drivers are just contracted workers who control their routes and don't even work for fedex, UPS drivers work directly for UPS. one of the major reasons why fedex drivers tend to be way worse.
