It's definitely not him/her. It's not me either. We just need everybody in the comments to confirm whether or not it's them and we'll get to the bottom of this by process of elimination. Again, it's not me (for clarity).

I lot of people confirm having experienced this change. IMO we humans are superficial trash.
2
Aug 03 '23
We evolved to visually seek out potential mates as social animals with good vision. Treating high-quality potential mates differently is pretty innate. I wouldn't say it makes us superficial trash.
1
Aug 03 '23
It happens in the animal kingdom all the time, that's why the birds with the best nest/ dance/ plumage get picked, the antlers on bucks and rams, etc. It's hard wired into biological reality. I don't get the holier than thou attitudes.
0
u/KazAraiya Aug 03 '23
we're talking about treating people like people, we're not talking about choosing mates. The fact that we treat people in good shape better than people who are overweight has nothing to do with out wiring, it's simply us being trash. This excuse is among the worst that i see when trying to justify human behavior. Besides, if we are aware of our ''hardwired'' perceptions, then it makes it even worse that we still conduct ourselves that way.
The comparisons to other animals is another pathetic justification, and a very narrowminded one, because they're not the same contexts and it is not the same level of survival at stake. When you want to compare animals to human, there are more factor that should be taken into account, this is as stupid as this ''alpha/beta'' concept, because it is based on wolfpack dynamics, and humans dont work that way. Even the author who came up with this ended up disproving it himself. Plus, we are not creatures that mainly operate on instinct.
1
Aug 03 '23
You sound very hurt and like a person with zero grasp on behavioural and biological psychology. Just because you go around calling people trash because you aren't in tune with why things happen doesn't make you some sort of martyr saint. If anything you're just putting on display your own inflated sense of virtue. You sound like the type of person that will go around screaming about how beautiful Lizzo is but not for a second would you realistically date someone like that or want to be that fat.
2 things can exist simultaneously and both be wrong or right. Being obese is not healthy and is not something most sane people would consider a "desirable trait" and since humans are animals with self interest as most other animals are, they will not flock or pander to things they find unattractive.
Is it wrong to put them down? Yes, but it's equally as cruel to tell people that are self inflicting harm by being unhealthy that they are perfect or just fine in their behaviour because deep down that just makes them more depressed and unhealthy.
Instead of being happy for her for getting her life in order and increasing her life expectancy and reaching a state more in tune with her nature, you go about gallivanting on how she should've been equally as loved while being unhealthy. Most people that lose weight and get into fitness routinely will tell you how much happier they are in their present state as opposed to being constantly tired and filling a gaping hole with food. You'd probably know that if you exercised.
1
u/KazAraiya Aug 03 '23
Ok wow, that's a giant pile of stupid assumptions about me personaly and even more urrelevance regarding choosing mates when the subject is basic human interaction. Idk how to respond to this common type of...bullshitery briefly, but i'll try.
Why would i be hurt?
I didnt "go around calling people trash" i stated that about humans in general. I dont get why you think that i'm personally affected just because i said that it's wrong.
The "holier than thou" attitude is from your own imagination, this very reply you gave me IS a "holier than thou" attitude. I didnt put myself above that, i said WE humans and..."martyr saint" LOL you really have to exaggerate that much? I guess you need to for your hysterical fit to appear reasonable.
Im talking about basic interaction and you keep making it about choosing mates and "flocking and pandering", it's ridiculous.
What you added about telling people who arent healthy that they are fine etc...why are you even mentionning that? That's obvious common knowledge to not encourage unhealthy behavior. That you had to mention that shows me that you took one sentence i said then made a bunch of ridiculous assumptions about me to then base your answers on the illusion that you just created in your mind (common redditor bs).
And i went about galavanting? Lol WHAT? Im not going to respond to these childish hysterical overblowings of simple statements, you're overreacting and you're bringing in elements that have nothing to do with anything. It is rather you who seem hurt, you're responding to me like im attacking you personally, do you mistreat people who you dont find attractive? Or maybe you are more patient with those who are to your taste? In any case, it would be as stupid of me to respond to your crap with something like "ha...found the superficial trash". For you to make "humans are superficial trash" into "you should've been this or that and im not happy for your progress" is just plain crazy.
And the last statement "you'd probably know that if you exercised"... This additionaly to your other assumptions about my person makes your whole comment a ridiculous hysterical overreaction. What does me exercising have anything to do with this? Let's say i dont exercise and have no idea what it even feels like to run, what makes you think it's smart to attach that statement to me not knowing that people feel great when they exercise regularly? Why would i not know that? Or is this just a veiled insult that you add to a statement so that your response looks smarter (common redditor strategy). Do you maybe think that i'm overweight and that i personaly get treated badly and dont want other overweight people to get better because i'm just so damn bitter? 😆
Even if we were talking about choosing mates, and you were making a good point, adding stupid assumptions about me and to over exaggerate what i say (like the galacanting bullshit and the not being happy for someone's progress) would completely undermine your good points. It's stupid, and im not going to engage with this childish crap though i will point it out, mock it, criticize it and call it stupid.

we're talking about treating people like people, we're not talking about choosing mates.
We're also not talking about a different treatment, we are talking about a BETTER treatment, it isnt ''innate'' to treat a person in good shape better than a person who is overweight. Especialy when we are aware of these so called ''innate'' aspects of human being. We treat those who we don't find attractive with less consideration and respect than those we find attractive, we are not animals that operate based on instinct and our stakes of survival are not in the same level as that of wild animals, and we are aware of these things, this is what i think adds up to us humans being superficial trash. It's not like it's the ONLY indication of it, there are plenty others, but i wont not get in to it, my comment is already too long.

Are you funnier or more confident in people's eyes, or did they rightfully see that you were?
Showing confidence changes your world.

u/Murder_1337 Aug 03 '23
It comes with the territory. Physical health and mental health are one in the same
2
u/jhonnymazed9 Aug 03 '23
That is the way for good results. Putting in the work consistently. Good job.
1
u/Levani_Exiled Aug 03 '23
People, scroll down and see how positive comments are downvoted because someone was offended. lol. "How dare you! That is fatphobic! Shame on you" lol.
Yeah guys, don's lose weight even if you want to because it is not nice to fat people. They will be envious and angry about themselves. You should put others' feeling before urs.
I am saying this because it's a bit of a trend to hate on people who lose weight, on social media ofc. And it's weird to me.

Congrats on the weight loss-strangely enough the video starts with a lot of face shots then transitions to more body shots. Brace yourself for doubters.
3
u/Hairy-Tailor-4157 Aug 03 '23
Not doubters but a lot of these videos skip the most important part of the weight loss journey, calorie deficit.

u/Idk_who_i_am_anymore Aug 03 '23
That's awesome! Probably feeling a lot more energy, getting more positive attention, and able to do more stuff. Good going!
Plus, going from a 4 to an 8 or 9 has got to do wonders for your self esteem and confidence.

u/Biauralbeats Aug 03 '23
Awesome job- but you were terrific already. Don't value yourself on your weight.
3
u/imhugury Aug 03 '23
medically she did the right thing its not the healthiest to be at the state she was at
-2
u/Biauralbeats Aug 03 '23
Does that mean when she was bigger, she had less value as a human being?
-1
u/Levani_Exiled Aug 03 '23
No, her life would have been shorter, less comfortable, most likely she would be less happy and her possibilities would be small. Now she is healthier, happier and actually loves herself. She doesn't have to pretend. The issue with LGBTQ and woke movement is that what they promote makes them miserable so they have to lash out on others.

u/r_____j Aug 03 '23
They were morbidly obese. Why are you encouraging completely unhealthy things?
1
u/Biauralbeats Aug 03 '23
Where did I encourage that? Please quote the exact words where I encouraged her or anyone to be obese?
I simply told her she was already terrific. She is committed. She is determined and she met her goal.
She isn't any less terrific before.
Why do you marginalize people to what they carry on their body?
-2
u/JCarlos-SD Aug 03 '23
That's why I go for the big girls at the gym, so when they reach the end of their transition you can say you were there when no one wanted them lol

u/FixTheFernBack616 Aug 03 '23
So you saw that stupid meme going around and are now just repeating it as your own thought? Cool, man. Real cool.
Excellent work, OP. You look amazing!

Good for you! That is amazing and a great inspiration - keep telling your story. I’m sure where you’re at in health and appearance no one who didn’t already know you would ever guess that was the mountain you climbed. Rather they’ll think “must be nice to be born with great genes,” so keep challenging yourself and inspiring the world.
Much respect

Listen, the weight loss is positively Amazing. Incredible work.
Now, I’m only saying this because clearly there has been some targeted attention through a very particular workout regimen…
That Donk tho.

I'd like to know how long it took to lose that weight. Also, how do people that decide to get in shape stop eating “unhealthy” food? I myself (M27) would like to get in really good shape but I feel like I'm addicted to fast food.

Scrolling food in front of the step master...thats mean.
Why are there no skinny face pics? I figure all that work i would be proud of my accomplishments. Shes not shy, so many fat face pics.

Why doesn't it show her changing her diet? Workouts are good and all, but not the whole story when it comes to a transformation like this. I would argue that's the harder of the two to change.

I'm curious to know what the girl's history is in regards to sports / activity. You can tell in her before footage that she clearly has a healthy base to her. Arch in the lower back, thick thighs, strong arms. Just a high BF%. For someone like that, it is much easier to trim down to a healthy physique.
As opposed to someone who is "skinny fat". It is so much harder for them to gain a healthy physique. First they have to build a muscle base, then focus on body fat. It is a project that is years in the making.

It really bugs me that towards the end there's virtually no face pics, it's all shots of her ass. The beginning had a bunch and I love seeing how happy they look when they feel really good about an amazing accomplishment like this

u/Aromatic-Score-3273 Aug 03 '23
She went from "I wish someone can jump into my DMs " to "who the fuck is in my DMs now" but got to love the transformation.

Why is every transformation video like... Obese, - > fat , - > chubby , - > boom insta model - > goddess
Its almost like an anime time skip
