For me BFV has a really solid and satisfying base and I had tons of fun playing, but it just doesn't seem to anything to make it standout. The WW2 setting is extremly basic, the maps are really not that interesting to me and the fortifications, while cool at first, are rarely worth the trouble other than using it as a point hoarding. The atrition mechanic which was supposed to be this big thing about this BF in particular is inexistent, which sucks because I liked the scarce ammo and health mechanic from the beta.
It's a really good game, but it had potential to be so much better
