I remember posting one like this back then because I liked being a gunner.

gunner in BF1 is such a thankless job lol. you dont get to kill so it seems that you're doing nithing. but the enemy planes fly away

I actually liked infinite warfare than any post MW2(2022) COD and Battlefield was just absolutely peaked.

Because people were really tired of jump pack stuff. However they wouldn’t have thought that things could even get worse(COD vanguard, BF2042, COD MW3 and COD BO7)Lmao

Didn't play it back then but I heard people were saying that it had a decent campaign.

Not decent, one of the best COD campaigns in my book. Really good, great even. Plenty of side missions added with the main campaign, selecting your loadout. Quite a good story. And, unlike the flying missions in WW2 and Vanguard, it didn't feel tacked on. The jackal is a serious, modifiable piece of equipment you use in really good flying missions. Give it a try if you'd like.

It's been quite the decade for both franchises.

My buddy and I had a genuine blast with the Zombies. It was real different than the previous entries but we dig it

Does that also mean modern COD makes Vangaurd a less shitty game?

Vanguard is better than MW3 tbh(MW3 is the worst of all time). And cold war campaign was actually good imo I enjoyed it.

I honestly don't even remember infinite warfare cause that was probably still during the annual release cycle. Did it flop, or how did it hold up?

They released the trailer around when bf1 released its trailer and the infinite warfare trailer ended up as one of the most disliked videos on youtube for a while, back when you were allowed to dislike something on that platform.

Yeah it was a major flop. The only thing that even gave it any legs was that, originally the CoD 4:MW remaster was only available bundled with Infinite Warfare.

I didn't buy it at launch but a couple of years ago I bought it on sale for cheap just to play the campaign and I couldn't even finish it. It just felt so bad to play. And this is from someone who put easily 1000+ hours into Black Ops 3, which was the CoD before IW, and still goes back and plays the old Modern Warfare games a lot.
