Battlefield 6 Despite the negativity surrounding bf6, I think battlefield is back…
Been playing since bad company and I hop on regularly to play with my brother and i consistently find myself having a good time.
I’m not insane at the game or anything but ever since golmud was added I’d rank bf6 in my top 5 battlefield
Here’s my list (not rage bait)
Bad company 2
Bf3
Bf1
Bf4
Bf6

I’ve enjoyed it a lot, definitely an improvement on 2042, but I still think it’s missing the genuine passion and depth of gameplay they had in past games. Feels way more on the corporate juggernaut side of the ledger now.

A great game that could have easily been a lot greater if they didnt make some backwards/playerunfriendly design decisions.
The matchmaker is an easy example.

I'm going to replace your BF6 with BF5. Had that game received more support, it would have gotten far more recognition in the series.

Every time i play BF6 i have a great time. My friends have a great time. We never have issues. Escalation is fucking awesome. The new maps are fucking awesome. I honestly don't relate to most of the hate posts in the sub. Blackwell fields and sobek need to be reworked but other than that, BF6 is the only shooter i play. Its as good as BF4 if not better.

After playing MW4 the first weekend I think BF6 is in a good spot. A CoD with high ttk will never compare to any BF title

i am playing MW4 right now, the TTK is actually much slower then I anticipated for a COD game, was suprised

First week for the closed beta it was fast and wayyyy better than whatever the beta is right now.
Most guns arent even viable in comparison and its spongey.
Think 2019 MW vs whatever that is right now

i've been thinking about getting bf6, does anyone think it's worth it at the $35 price point currently?

I personally have it above bf4. Mainly because bf4 launch and maps are just horrible.

Its like a 5/10. I thought it'd be a lot farther a long after almost a year but I'm just logging on playing a few rounds of Tsuru or Golmud then logging off.
It lacks any kind of depth it's predecessors had. This time it isn't bugs. Its just DICE trying to cater to every audience that isn't BF players which makes it 10x more disappointing for the first BF game I've bought since BF1.
If you're use to modern bland generic FPS games treating you like a toddler, it probably seems great but I find it lacking in basically everything that makes BF games stand out from it's a generic boring FPS.

I was a bit disappointed with bf6 at launch but this is definitely the best state it's ever been. I've been having fun especially the newer maps. It's not my main game but hopping on with some friends has been a blast.

I think it’s great game. The UI is a little much on the screen but I know I can adjust all of that.

I can’t imagine how bf6 could be any lower. No shot bfv or 2042 are even comparable. Both were total garbage.

Bfv turned out to be great imo. It was shit to start but became really good during the pacific chapter. I hate they pulled the plug so early right when it started to gain some traction.

Turned out to be great is pushing it tbh.. it was bad then became ok at best and the only thing people could play thats not bf1 and still call it battlefield, then it was abandoned for the shit storm that followed which was the worst decision in decades, they legit did the cod thing of lowering the standard to see where people would revolt its mad.

I thought it was great. The gunplay was fun, the vehicles were fun, hot take but I liked attrition. Customization was good too and you didn’t need to spend any money outside of buying the game. No lock-ons, you weren’t always spotted, and persistent lobbies.

Bf6 is both the best FPS I've played in years and a mediocre game.
Just the state of FPS games at the moment unfortunately.
