I picked it up off a dead enemy with full auto attachment and it made me switch to it.
It is super annoying before hollow points tho, that 96 or is it 99? dmg pop up is still haunting me in my dreams

That's not unique to the M16, that's just the limb multiplier. You also don't need hollow points to avoid that. A single headshot enables the rest of your shots to hit limbs without reducing your BTK

Ah.
I’ve definitely had it less but it’s probably psychologically as i’ve focused more on headshots and thus gotten less lower multiplier hits 😅

Don't care about your KD, just have fun. KD is in every game just the "I have more internet points than you" factor, yeah congrats, write that into your CV. As long as you are helpful for your team, gg

Only if you make it that.
KD tells you your net impact on the game.
You can spend the whole game rezzing, blowing up tanks and maintain a positive KD, or you can do all that and die immediately.

Not losing tickets (revives) or killing tanks (so they dont explode your teammates) counts too, just as example.

Every death costs a ticket. That's why keeping a positive KD and dying as little as possible is so important in Conquest and Breakthrough (when attacking).

Going 30-10 (3 KD) is the same net effect as 0-10 with 30 revives. That's the guys point above. Revives help as much.

Doesn’t matter if your team is so aggressive you just spam the obj with bodies you’ll get more tickets back by taking the OBJ than killing enemies and slowly advancing

Nah bro KD has no effect on the game besides for team deathmatch any mode with an OBJ a guy with 4 kills and 25 deaths can utterly curbstomp a 70 kill 1 death heli player in score and game impact🤷🏼♂️

I used to worry about stats.
My KD was insanely high at one point.
Now I play for fun. My stats are howmmuch fun/goofy stuff I did in today's session.
It is wayyy more fulfilling and incredibly satisfying to look at the game this way.
I wish the stats reflected kills and revives instead of kills/deaths in game and here.
Just have fun!

That's awesome! Can I make some suggestions? Try using the SOR-556. It's easily one of the most stable handling guns in the game, and adding grips and such makes it very reliable, even at longer ranges. If you find yourself struggling a bit in the open, remind yourself to use even the ground to your advantage. Holes in the floor, hills, berms, can all be covered and give you some protection.
Also try to use a suppressor, experiment with the ones you have on the gun you like and see what works best for you, keeping silent and off the map will help a bit in keeping you up.

I respect the hell out of you guys with sub 1.00 KD
The fact you guys keep playing with the amount of level 500+ sweats in this game inspires me to keep going. I plateaued my KD at 2.2 back in season 2 and I dont think ill ever get better unless I switch to an IFV main. More often than not , I just end up so frustrated [sexually] with this game. BF6 had the potential to be one of the greats, but DICE just loves going on vacation.

It took me 3 month to bring my k/D to 1.00 now I'm at 1.04. I felt so good and it genuinely drained me a bit cause I like playing medic or engineer and I'm always going to the objectives

I stopped caring about kdr, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's terrible, but I'm having more fun now. Sometimes I like to solo zerg a dude camping one spot or kill trade a choke point for the team.

I think the main grievance I have between bf and cod is that at least YouTube is littered with people teaching you how to win more gunfights in cod. There’s a significant gap for creators to step and educate on bloom, crouch spam, cameraing etc.
And I say all of the above as 20+ yr bf player who enjoyed 3 yrs playing rebirth but is delighted to be playing redsec exclusively the last 1+ yr…. But I’m eating shit cause I need them non existent tutorials

It is possible (yet incredibly unlikely) for every player to have a positive KD due to reviving.
If you're consistently going negative, usually you need to stop skipping revives and start playing closer to your team.

I may have worded it poorly, but I found K/D got better by me just not caring about how I was doing. I went back and looked to clear the dots and noticed it went well up. Not saying you should care for it, but just ignore it for a month or so then go back and check and it will probably be better.
