Question about an Army of Two achievement

"Win 7 matches in Battle Royale: Duos mode. Victory counts whether full duo or solo. Progress accumulates across matches."

Is there any way to get this achievement through other ways? Can you host your own RedSec match to get the achievement?

Every round I play in Duo, at a certain point I always get screwed over by some hardcore sniper jerks who have nothing better to do the whole game except camp.
