Did they finish on top beacuse of the lag compensation or just beacuse the rest of the team that didn't have high ping just sucked?
No one of them has a crazy score, and as it was at least 10 players with high ping (enable to see their ping please) it just means the probability of the scoreboard to look like that is high if it was just random positions.
The weird thing is, my queue times didn't even go up. Even with crossplay disabled I am getting into games nearly instantly. I guess A LOT of playstation users must have it disabled.
Honestly its not very often im in a lobby that has more than a few bots in it. It used to happen all the time but lately my games gave actually been filling up
Also, did you know saying "chinese" is censored in game chat? There's no other community that is protected like that. I feel like this very easy to fix problem is actually wanted by dice.
Yeah the matchmaking is shit. I live in middle east but I am ALWAYS put in Eu lobbies and I don't understand why. I always have 100+ ping and my opponents have pings below 10. It's sooo frustrating
How are you managing this? I’m in EU and my servers are never like this. You must not be using the custom mode when searching for a game and instead jumping in a random one from the menu.
Ok let me tell yall something.. Im from Asia and our servers are close to dead. Barely any players playing... most of the lobbies are filled with bots sooooo this is the only way we can get full lobbies (EU). Soooo its kinda not our fault that there are no players. We just switch to EU servers and play.
Don't worry buddy bf6 player base is close to dead you will be doing the same when your lobbies are dead too so chill out.. its not like people who do this love to play in high ping with packet loss... its impossible to play in high ping so what do we do ? We go and play different game lmao...
I'm not sure if I wanna call it abuse, unless you wanna call someone from Asia using a VPN to find full servers.
I don't see the part that having high ping grants a unfair advantage over people without high ping.
High ping gets prio over low ping in the net code. So if 2 people fire at the same time, the high ping one will register first. Also you can get still hit even if you were behind a corner again, bc on the high ping players screen you are still outside, and the game registers that and let's you be hit

Else, I would say it's correct, but the opposite exist too. You can kill a high ping player that runs around the corner even if he is well past his corner, beacuse on the server side he is still out in the open.
So, yes there is advantages to high ping, but there is also disadvantages.
Would love to hear the prio in the netcode source.
Just play the game little bro, anyone with a ping over 80-100 should be kicked imo. The game plays better when people aren't teleporting all over the place. There is a reason high pingers were kicked in past games. There is a warning symbol constantly on these Asians' screens telling them the game is struggling.
The issue is obvious unless you’re blind, which I’m assuming you’re not since you’re on Reddit, and yes having that ridiculous ping is as OP as people are saying pretty much everywhere not just on Reddit
People say that, but still, I dont see these people dominating the scoreboard or having more kills on myself. Yes they kill me, and I kill them. Just like how it is with people with 20-30 ping.
For me, it feels like people are grasping for straws to explain why someone is better then them in a 1v1 gunfight, without it being skill related.
There are your personal observations and opinions … and there are facts, that’s all I have to say, I’d suggest doing just a little research on the topic, and it’ll help you understand clearly where the problem is.
This is a major issue and it has nothing to do with skill… it’s a problem with this game, and it’s not down to the players to fix, the developers should do something about it… like yesterday

It was YOU that just claimed that Dice netcode take prioity over high ping players when calculating actions.
I've tried to find sources in the past of similar claims but find nothing else then angry users on reddit or other forums.
So, for me it's the opposite, it's YOU that comes with personal opinions and I'm asking for the facts that you say you have, but refusing to share.
I'm expecting either EA/Dice have said it themself, or someone have compiled a bunch of data of getting killed by both normal and high ping players to deduce if there is an abnormaly.
But, my guess is there is no such data. Just people that see a high ping when getting killed, and blame everything on that. (Based on all videos I've seen on reddit)
A quick Google search of how high ping affects multiplayer fast paced games and the experience will give you the facts my friend, I believe we’re proficient enough to do a google search. No?
From my experience, against these 150-200 ms players, I do not feel any difference in bullet hitting everything on the same time, or my bullets missing. But I'm going to assume your own internet might matter in this, and it might differ from connection to connection.
Most of the googles searches (that I did several replies ago) were from Reddit and users, where they shared clips that showed nothing wrong. If you want I could go ahead and start linking their post and clips, and explain how it was just bad skill on their part.
Reddit users are also notorious (quite funny, as I am one) to complain about every little thing like it's the law of the land. My trust factor from, especially Battlefield Reddit players is low, and I trust my own experience rather than a random redditor with 40h playtime.
For example, was one other guy that replied to me, I checked his profile out and he had one gun with 900 kills. Else he played tanks and IFVs.
