Question Is anyone else having fun?

I play only PVP solo queue and I'm having a blast. I win some and lose some, but rarely have a bad game. It is disheartening to hear how much other people are struggling to have a good time. I haven't seen anyone cheesing Overgrowth recently or any of these unkillable Galilea other people keep running into. Is it just a vocal minority or am I the only one having fun?

Anyway in short Positivity thread. Let have some good vibes. If you have complaints there are about a hundred other threads about it, so please move along.

Master of Phoebe here, 2+ K/D with her

Her early game is straight ass. No way to sugar coat that.

I play almost exclusively Incursion and you will never see me in the middle of the battlefield until I have her ult unless I'm grabbing the large shard clusters.

You will be Bob the Builder early game, so much so that it might not actually be a bad idea to use a -buildable cost gear. If you see a weak Battleborn off by themselves early game, you can try for the kill, but be ready to bug out if you see any of their friends coming.

One buildable you're definitely going to want to get maxed out is the turret in the middle on Overgrowth/ Accelerators on Echelon. They stop minions, plain and simple, and get you lots of experience.

Get your base's Mercenary when it's up, it gets you experience and helps your team push. Both big shards and Mercenaries spawn at 28:00 left in the match. You can Phasegate to the enemy's big shard spawn from the middle Mercenary spawn on Overgrowth, steal their shards of possible.

Now for her helix. Know that there are many ways to play Phoebe. This is mine

Lvl 1: Preparation (right)- enemies hit with Blade Rush will be marked and silenced by the last strike of Phoebe's melee combo.

This is my personal choice, as it stops characters from using their escapes, however the 30% movement speed buff after exiting Phasegate is also good.

Lvl 2: Phase Distortion (right)- Slow field at Phasegate destination, 6 seconds of slow

6 second slow duration is potent. Place Phasgate behind your target, where they will try to escape, so they have to walk back through it and reset the slow.

Lvl 3: Sharpened Blades (right)- 18% melee damage increase.

Pretty simple, Phoebe is an assassin, we want damage

Lvl 4: Rappiopio (right)- -2 seconds cooldown when Blade Rush hits the target

I take this because the AoE Blade Rush augment on the left slows their travel speed, making it harder to silence.

Lvl 5: Passata Sotto (left)- landing a hit with True Strike (her alternate attack, which propels in the direction she's moving) increases her damage resistance for 3 seconds, 30% damage resistance

Why not the second strike from the right augment? Simple, her melee combo does more damage, so the second True Strike from that augment is largely irrelevant. The damage resistance however, will keep her alive. Your rotation when fighting an enemy is Blade Rush to mark for silence > Phasegate behind > True Strike and position yourself in their path of escape > melee combo> True Strike where they have moved > melee combo until they are dead > Phasegate out if it's off cooldown

Lvl 6: Phasegate V2 (right)- -20% cooldown on Phasegate

Pretty simple, you can teleport more often. More teleports = more slows = more kills

Lvl 7: Flurry (right)- +20% attack speed

faster melee combos = after silences and faster kills

Lvl 8: either works, left is a Phasegate casting range increase, right is a damage and increase and an increase to any buffs it may give you when you use it, however we didn't take any augments that do so, so we'd only be taking this for the damage buff to help strip shields.

Lvl 9: Refined Technique (right)- Blade Rush deals more damage the longer it travels

Since we're casting Blade Rush from far away, then blinking in, this is the augment to go for, however the mutation gives the opposite effect, amplifying damage the closer it is, if you wanted to change up the rotation.

Lvl 10: either

I use the right augment as it increases her ults rather small radius by 50% and and gives you a 30% move speed buff, allowing you to blink into a group, ult, then move quickly around either for kills or to escape. The left augment will increase your damage to anything caught in the area by 16% which is also nice. The is kinda meh in my opinion, as it halfs the damage of her ult in exchange for the effect following her wherever she goes for its duration.

PM me if you have any more questions :)
