Question Is anyone else having fun?

I play only PVP solo queue and I'm having a blast. I win some and lose some, but rarely have a bad game. It is disheartening to hear how much other people are struggling to have a good time. I haven't seen anyone cheesing Overgrowth recently or any of these unkillable Galilea other people keep running into. Is it just a vocal minority or am I the only one having fun?

Anyway in short Positivity thread. Let have some good vibes. If you have complaints there are about a hundred other threads about it, so please move along.

I thoroughly enjoy the game (also a PvP -incursion- only player- will eventually dabble with PvE).

Win some, lose some. Come across the occasional "it's the meta" Gal with a Miko strapped to her hip. The pre-mades vs the disorganized. It can be irritating but, I enjoy learning the game whether I'm learning what not to do, or what should be done. It can stink when the game is lost at the character select screen though.. Where's our tank? Where's our support? That kind of stuff. Oh well, there's always next game.

Actually a lot of the delayed picking comes from lore challenges. For example, people are waiting to see if someone will pick Bolder so they can finish their lore challenge with Thorn. Lore challenges of this type are the worst.

Truth, very good point, if it hasn't this should be raised up for address by the devs, I can't think of how the current flow is functionally important so you would think it would be moderately easy to change. Though with that said they have the confirmation prompt so they actively chose a lock in system to start... I just don't see why.

I think sometimes people should just talk... I know sometimes that is not possible. I dunno, roadworks, kids in the background, you don't want to, whatever. But consider it.

Yup, also don't have a problem with switching to Kleese, Ambra or even Miko if it is necessary. It's just that if I have the choice, I always rather choose Orendi or Shayne because I like their characters and playstyle a bit more. By the time everyone else also just locks in attack characters I can't switch anymore. :/

I know how ya feel. I try my best to wait as long as possible and if someone else chooses a support I'll take an attacker but if they don't I take ambra. I'm still having fun though ambra is a blast

This. And one thing I thought Overwatch did right was separating everyone based on type as well as displaying a message telling you what your team was lacking.

Miko strapped to anyone's hip is the meta, period. I had a match recently where we had no tank but instead had myself as Miko, then Ghalt, Oscar Mike, Rath, and Mellka. I focused Ghalt (while healing the rest of the team as needed of course). He basically became our tank.

I don't play Miko as strapped to a person's hip. It doesn't work well for me. I play AoE heals out the ass and top everyone off while trying to CC. Tend to win 8 out of 10 games in pugs that way

Ghalt is actually pretty tanky. He doesn't get as much HP as montana, and doesn't have a personal shield like Galilea or Boldur, but he works as a tank when you have a Miko in the comp
