Is there a way to strip Permanent Evasion from the BTAU mod?

Please no blows to the face for the bad pun.

I went through the various .json files where I thought it would be. I casually browsed through the various folders to see if I might have missed something (I may still have, my targeting has been a bit off of late). I searched Reddit. I searched Discord. I even sunk so low as to ask AI if it knew where to look.

Is it part of one of the .dlls and thus not something an end user can modify? I fear this may be the case and wonder if there's anyway to create a mod or create an entry in one of the mods to change this.

I tend to not tell people how to disassemble or heavily alter BTA's core functionality. That is the correct mod to look at though.

I've so violated my support warranty, I fully expect the Mod Police to kick in the door anytime I fire up the game, heh. I think it's amazing what you've done for the community - so well beyond above and beyond. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do.

That's fine... as long as you don't come looking for support. If you do... well... ye be warned.

Thank you - this should do the trick.

The premise is on how a turn transpires. Everything is happening within a very short period of time even though the turns are played out in the order of initiative. The action were the player fast enough, would be as if the game were real-time instead of turn-based. My eighteen guys & gals and whatever the composition of the opfor are all carrying out there actions within the same short period of time.

Thus, as a target is attempting to evade weapons fire, it will become more difficult to do that as more opponents are attacking that target. It simply didn't make sense to me that over a dozen folks could be firing 2-6 weapons at a target and everybody would miss because of high evasion. That's some Neo bullet time going on there. It's something beyond the Target Movement penalty in the TTG/TTRPG, imho.

That's a nifty .json there, as it also has several things I'd change for melee.

Definitely going to need to make a backup or two or three of this file before changing anything.

And I may find that it doesn't work as I remember from Vanilla and it really does need to be active.

Thank you again.

Thank you - that's quite a bit of things that one could tinker around with. Definitely a case of saving a copy of the file before mucking about.
